You are probably wondering why do I have so many posts about Ilocos. Well to answer your question, for one I don’t want to cramp up all my write up into one blog and second we have freedom. hahaha.. I mean why not? Ilocos deserves a spot in my blog.
What is your source energy? What powers you up? Me? Chocolate. Any kind of chocolate will do. hehe.. For Davao? The Davao Light and Power Company derived from its plants supplying Davao City and Davao del Norte Areas.
For Ilocos? It’s not a big electric fan. It’s not a ceiling fan turned sideways either. It’s not a big fidget spinner. It’s Bangui Wind Farm.
Another talk of the town would be Bangui Wind farm. Amazing isn’t it? These windmills officially referred to as Northwind Bangui Bay Project. Another natural source of clean and sustainable energy.
The Bangui Windfarm uses 20 units of wind turbines facing West Philippine Sea. It is located at the north-west of Luzon.
It amazes me how human ingenuity can think of ideas such as this. Creating and innovating power source and utilizing natural resources that is not harmful instead beneficial towards society and the environment.
After we went to Blue Lagoon with their various water activities and amenities. Beach is never a bad idea to end the day. It rained. It means blessings pouring out from heaven. Nothing better than sipping a sumptuous lomi soup partnered with toasted bread and staring at the blank space of the ocean. Talking with some of the best people I know and plainly having random conversations.
That sums up my Day 2 in Ilocos. It just never ceases to surprise me each and every location. Full of wonders and discovery.. What’s next? VIGAN! Better watch out.
